I have to say, I'm 27 and I so take offense to that!
No,.. I'm kidding, you're right. I was always very mature for my age, and I grew up looking around at my peers wondering why they act that way and how they think they can get away with it.
We live in sad times my friend.
I'd love to say they just put the over the top ones on TV, but I've lived with the generation and the truth is... the vast majority haven't grown up. Sad times indeed.

You know, I refuse to follow all the hype about this. I think it's sad that he has this addiction problem, and it's sick that the media keeps focusing on it and fanning the flames.

I do feel sorry for John Cryer though, I hope he can move on to something better.

Disturbed? Probably. Strung out and incoherent? Certainly. Savvy like a fox and probably going to make even more money because of his insightful understanding of how the media feeds the sheeple what they want? OH YES.

When everyone else is running to the trough to slop up the latest Hollowood scandal I try to remember what keeps tinsel-town going...the grease of our dollars.

If someone doesn't like the taste, I suggest they stop watching what is being slopped-out by these hacks.

Coming from someone who thought of themselves as old, even when quite young, I think your way is better!

One shouldn't live their life preparing for SUCCESS or FAILURE. Balance is necessary.

Well said, Susan. Too much emphasis is put on the wrong people for the wrong reasons. I've stopped reading gossip sites and magazines because I think reading them just perpetuates the problem.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My grandmother passed away in 1987, and I still think of her almost every day. It'll take some time, but you'll get to the point where you can think of her or touch her things and not cry. It's getting to that point that's the hardest. Take care.

I can see how this can happen but I think it is worth mentioning that real friends are there for you when you need them.

If the commitment level to your friendship is occasionally returning a telephone call then I would say they have moved back to old friend instead of BESTEST friend.

When friends want you they will find a way to be in your life.

Unless the proprietor is prepared to force people to leave then they are just dreaming. I have been in restaurants that enforced a dress code.

I don't know if such restaurateurs can survive in the current economy when you can walk a block down the street and eat something similar in your flip-flops.
